Oak cluster carved ivory cane handle

Description:

An early and decorative English cane featuring a 2” high ivory knob with a widening, 8-sided plain top & short neck carved in high relief with a crown of oak leaves & acorns & a real & tall Malacca shaft with ivory ferrule. Outstanding example of finest English stick maker’s art. Entirely original, relatively little surface wear. 39-1/4” overall length. Greatly simple with lots of character.
